Our Activities
As Kadam Foundation Apede is mainly focused on developing health, education status and empower women’s education, we are currently working on some basic things like:
Health Camp
Health Camps arranged in every three months under the observation of the reputed and experienced doctors where rural people can get their free check-ups done.
Eye Checkup Camp
Due to malnutrition, people of this area suffer from eye problem but they are unable to visit specialists as they can’t afford it. Free eye check-up camps are held every 4 months where we also distribute spectacles to the needy.
Tree Plantation Program
Tree saves our lives in various ways and maintain the environmental balance. Due to deforestation huge number of trees cut down and it affects the environment heavily; we started an awareness program to save the environment. We arrange tree plantation program in every month where we distribute saplings among the children.
Free Study materials distribution
Bags, school uniforms, and books are the primary things students need to go to school. We distribute these things among the rural children to encourage them to go to school and learn with their hearts.
Women Health Seminar
We arrange special health camps for women to make them aware about the girl problems through seminars. Women of rural areas are not allowed to visit doctors and talk about their problems; they don’t have that facility to visit an expert. There are very few facilities for medical check-up and treatment. We organize free medical camps at Khed Taluka , Ratnagiri district and distribute free medicines and sanitary napkins.
Honoring Corona Warriors
The people who have been in the frontline in the fight against the deadly virus, will be honoured. The theme is ‘Honour the corona warriors.’
Distribution of Soap, Hand Sanitizers and Face Mask
In the month of December 2020 we organized special campaign for school students, who had started attending school. We distributed soaps, hand sanitizers and face masks and also we guided then about their safety.
Self Defense and Health Checkup for School Students
We organized special Self defense training and Health checkup program for school students at Shiravli School, Khed taluka Ratnagiri district.
